Sample Council Resolution to be scheduled to the FMA

In order to access the benefits and services offered under the FMA, your Chief and Council must pass a resolution of Council to the Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada requesting that the official name of the Nation be added to the Schedule to the Act.

Letter of Cooperation

The Letter of Cooperation describes how your First Nation and the FMB will work together. We need a signed copy before we start working together. It applies to: Financial Administration Law (FAL) development, Financial Performance Certification, Bringing your FAL to Life, and Financial Management System Certification. (Note: Letter of Cooperation is not legally binding)
