How much time do we have to bring our FAL to life and obtain FMS Certification?
A Nation has three years after borrowing from the FNFA to obtain FMS Certification. If a Nation has not borrowed from the FNFA, there is no specific time frame required to bring a FAL completely to life and become FMS Certified. Nations can bring their FAL to life at their own pace if they have not borrowed from the FNFA.
How do we connect with other First Nations to learn about their experience of working with the FMB?
The FMB hosts annual conferences with all of its clients who are bringing their FAL to life. The conferences provide Nations the opportunity to share their experiences with one another. The FMB's new website will also have an online Forum that will allow Nations to confidentially get in touch with one another and share information and experiences. This new feature will be fully launched by March 31, 2018.
Visit the Forum to connect with other First Nations. (You'll need to log in to MyFMB to access the forum. If you don't have an account with us, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org)
